Mycopor – a biodegradable eco friendly composite material

The products are made from sawdust, hemp, corn straw and other substances that are combined with water and additional nutrients and then inoculated with fungi. They grow in the substrate and form an interwoven network of hyphae that forms a solid structure. This is followed by drying, which permanently stops the growth of the fungi.
